The Academy's junior group gymnasts and coach Daria Pirogova sum up the results of the second stage of the Cup of the Strongest

The Academy's junior group gymnasts successfully competed in the second stage of the Cup of the Strongest, winning three gold medals out of three.

After the tournament, team gymnast Anna Gryaznova spoke about the preparations for the tournament and how important it is to stay calm on the carpet:

"We have the tasks of three out of three run-throughs. Certainly, you are already thrilled when doing the third run-through and something may not work out as it should be. Nevertheless, you should be calm because if you start messing around, you will not succeed. Well, Daria Olegovna also tells us that risks should be taken yet smartly. Victoria Sergeevna came to us, she changed the routine and the start with balls for us: an inyeresting support also. And the ending. Well, we certainly tried different variants also but eventually ended with this one. We liked it a lot also and many thanks to her for dedicating her time to us and for such a nice change in the routinе."

She thanked everyone who helped them:

"We want to say many thanks to the whole pool of coaches, especially to Daria Olegovna, Elena Vladimirovna, and Anna Pavlovna for working with us, saying the needed words to us, setting us up, and we love them so much. We also want to say many thanks to Alina Maratovna. She was with us during podium training and on the first day. She has energy enough for everyone, both for group exercise and individual gymnasts. It helps a lot. Thanking her so much. Also thanks so much to Ekaterina Konstantinovna, she also supports us a lot, loves us so much, many thanks to her!"

Vladislava Gaivoronskaya spoke about the poster she received at the tournament:

"I am very pleased. This poster was presented to me by the girls, with whom I practiced in Voronezh before. They came together with their coach to support, to root for our team. It was very helpful."

Academy coach Daria Pirogova shared her personal tradition of using photos of their medals as their phone wallpaper:

"The girls put their lights on in all the senses. They fulfilled our guidance: cleanly, boldly and expressively. They coped with that one hundred percent. We will be preparing right now for the Russia-China Games in Kaliningrad. I set the won medals on my wallpaper. There are ones from the first stage of the Cup of the Strongest, from the Russian Junior Championship, and here are two my medals from the European Junior Championship. And so we have it this way, I will now make more pictures."

Vladislava Gaivoronskaya, Alisa Kirpicheva, Anna Gryaznova, Alexandra Ponomareva, Elizaveta Malashenko, and Kira Pryn won the all-around title, as well as the five-ball and five-ribbon finals. Their coaches are Anna Ustsova and Daria Pirogova, and their choreographer is Elena Egorova.

The gymnasts are active champions of the Russian Championship. They live and train at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.
