Group exercise gymnasts of the Volgograd Region told us about their images at the Sky Grace Cup interregional competition

Group exercise gymnasts of the Volgograd Region surprised the audience by unusual images at the Sky Grace Cup interregional competition. 

A team gymnast shared how they were created and why the girls emphasize artistry:

"Our images and hairstyle were designed by our coaches: Viktoria Borodina, Galina Gusichenko, and Olga Konovalova. They made up such images and the music for us. It seems to me that we have come up with cool exercises. Artistry is being judged now very strictly and in order to have everything made at the competition so good emotionally and with the nice appearance, this should be practiced at training sessions, worked at every run-through, and going all out."

Another athlete of the team explained the programs in more detail: 

"We had the music from the Lion King in the clubs. Avery joyful and interesting exercise there. We make the angrier zombie image in the hoops."

Adelina Gizatulina, Anna Scherbakova, Darya Kulikova, Alena Melsitova, Anna Pronkina and Elizaveta Susina are members of the Volgograd Region team.

The group exercise team was third in the all-around under the candidate masters of sports program among teams of the Southern Federal District.
