Russian team group gymnasts tell about the preparation for the Cup of the Strongest Athletes of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus

The Russian team group gymnasts became the all-around champions in the senior program at the international Cup of the Strongest Athletes of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus tournament.
The gymnast of the team Ekaterina Timoshenko told how the preparation for the important start took place:
"All competitions are important to us. These ones, of course, too. We prepared for a long time, worked on consistency, on cleanliness. We prepared for a long time. We had three control trianing sessions. We had a large panel of judges, they listened to us, everyone counted, so that everything would be perfect, so that everything would be counted."
She also described the images in each exercise:
"In the ribbons we start with a drip, a gentle breeze, and then the further we go, the stronger the thunderstorm, the storm grows. And the hoop, the balls are more fun for us. At the beginning they are more mysterious, and the further we go, the more fun, and at the end we just start having fun."
The team included Adelina Nizamutdinova, who recently switched from the individual program to group exercises. The athlete shared her impressions of a new stage in her career:
"Tatyana Sergaeva invited me to try out. I came to the training camp. At first I didn’t really like it in the group. At first I didn’t quite understand. But then I got into it, I really liked it and now I really like standing up in the group. I can say that in a group the responsibility is much greater. But it is calmer to go out, because there are five of you. You are not alone and this is support and someone to lean on."
The Russian team's group exercises team consists of Nonna Nyanina, Ekaterina Timoshenko, Amina Idrisova, Alisa Chernyaeva, Alina Rusanova and Adelina Nizamutdinova.
