Group team gymnasts from the Sverdlovsk region share their impressions of the interregional Sky Grace Cup tournament

A gymnast from the Sverdlovsk region Center for Rhythmic and Aesthetic Gymnastics team told how the athletes prepared for the competition.

"The atmosphere here is very pleasant and friendly. We really like this hall. We consider it a blessing.  We started intensively working for this tournament two months before. We had productive workouts every day. We were preparing seriously and we therefore appeared and showed the decent result today, the one we wanted. We tried to convey an image.  We are the goddesses of revenge in the clubs and we are hawks in the hoops and the balls. To have team watching interesting, a real spectacle should be showed, so that goosebumps appear," she said.

She also shared the story of their mascot, Medalka.

"This is our mascot, its name is the Little Medal. She has this leotard. We had such leotards before. She has been with us for a long time. It was presented to us at a competition. And we decided that it will be our mascot. Since then it always brings only good luck to us," she said.

Sofia Khrushcheva, Sofia Karavaeva, Nadezhda Zherdeva, Sofia Rzhannikova, Alexandra Stukalo and Kira Lobovikova became champions of the interregional Sky Grace Cup tournament in the Masters of Sports program in the Ural Federal District.
