Group team gymnasts from St. Petersburg share their impressions of the Aura Cup tournament in Croatia

Group team gymnasts from St. Petersburg share their impressions of the Aura Cup tournament in Croatia. Team gymnast Alisa Eremeeva summed up the results:
"Our impressions are positive. We really liked the city, the tournament itself, and the atmosphere. We came here to showcase our programs, identify any mistakes and areas for improvement, and draw the right conclusions. It was incredibly loud during the finals. We performed quite late, but the enthusiastic welcome we received when we stepped out was definitely motivating."
The gymnast noted that these competitions gave them the opportunity to test out their routines with increased difficulty:
"This was our first tournament of the season, taking place two months after the World Championships. So, it was important for us to try out the elements we had made more difficult — to see if we could pull them off — and to test out new approaches so we could make adjustments for the future."
The athlete also thanked everyone who helped and supported them:
"We would like to thank Alina Maratovna for her support. We also want to thank Tatyana Iosifovna and Natalya Alexandrovna for their advice, for keeping in touch, for caring about us, and for their help. Thank you to Elena Anatolyevna, who is always with us; to Elena Yuryevna for the choreography; to all our choreographers; to Alevtina Valeryevna for her assistance; and to the entire team at the Zhemchuzhina Rhythmic Gymnastics Center for always being there and helping us achieve success."
The group gymnasts from St. Petersburg are world champions in the group all-around and silver medalists of the Russian Championship. The group exercises team trains at the Zhemchuzhina Rhythmic Gymnastics Center. Their coach is Elena Petunina, and their choreographer is Elena Afanasyeva.
