Group team gymnasts from the Ryazan Region share their impressions after winning the Sky Grace Cup in the Central Federal District

At the interregional Sky Grace Cup tournament, in the Central Federal District, group gymnasts from the Ryazan Region Olimpiets Athletic School won gold in the Master of Sports Candidate program.

Gymnasts Ulyana Varfolomeeva, Anna Bystrova, Yulia Dyagileva, Anna Fokina, Alexandra Petrina and Sofya Khomutskaya explained what they did best.

"The competition day was fairly good but we nevertheless had some delays, drawbacks in the performance. We really liked it in general. There was such an atmosphere, we were supported, everybody applauded. The hall is actually very good; we have not performed in such one long since. We liked everything so much; we will continue working. We are proud of our artistry. We believe that we practiced it very well, that our throws to each other turned out to be very good," she said.

The athletes also shared how competition helps them develop. 

"Yes, the girls from Sky Grace indeed are who we rooted for, watched and had the emotional connection to. We also learned something from that during this event, rooted for them at the Alina Kabaeva Champions Cup Grand Prix. We are very happy for them and consider them an example to us," they said.
