The Academy group team summed up the results of their performance at the Crystal Rose international competitions

The Academy group team summed up the results of their performance at the Crystal Rose international competition.
Anna Gryaznova spoke about the specifics of preparing for the start and the benefits of recovery camps at the Academy:
"This is our first competition in this season. We prepared quite diligently, making three clean run-throughs each time. The competition was a little bit exciting but we tried to work calmly. The fact that you don't have judges in front of you is a little unusual: you perform for the audience, not for judges, and not for the score, but you try to show the audience artistry and that’s it. We had the recovery camp. We had parterre choreography there, apparatus training with Marina Govorova, and dance training with Dmitry Stepanchikov. This helped us; we took a little rest and at the same time worked on the apparatus and on the artistry."
Polina Zakharova noted the support and valuable advice from Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva:
"Alina Maratovna always supports us, encourages us, makes some comments, tells us to always do everything calmly, wisely, not to worry, to do as during the workouts, that there is simply the need to show everything you have already practiced at workouts."
Anna Gryaznova also thanked everyone who took part in the training of the athletes:
"We would like to say many thanks to our coach Anna Ustsova, our choreographer Ekaterina Belova, and the entire big Academy team for believing in us and preparing us for such serious competitions."
At the Crystal Rose international competitions, the Academy's threesome consisting of Polina Zakharova, Nicole Andronchik, Alina Proschalykina, Anna Gryaznova, Nelly Reutskaya and Kira Pryn became champions in the all-around, winners in the hoop exercise and took second place with five pairs of clubs according among juniors.
