Academy group gymnasts share their impressions of the performance at the Alina Kabaeva Grand Prix Champions Cup

Academy group gymnasts Nelli Reutskaya, Alina Proshchalykina, Polina Zakharova, Nicole Andronchik and Anna Gryaznova shared their emotions after performing at the Alina Kabaeva Grand Prix Champions Cup.
"The atmosphere at this tournament is very comfortable, friendly; the girls support us, it is very nice, and it is helpful for us. We performed fairly good with the hoops. We had mistakes in the clubs that we will try to fix," they said.
The gymnasts noted the involvement of Alina festival choreographer Irina Zenovka and Russia’s Honored coach Inna Bystrova in their preparation.
"Irina Zenovka came to us in the Academy. She made small changes for us in the hoops, made accents and various points, so that they match well with the music. Inna Bystrova also came to us. She gave us plenty of valuable pieces of advice, how to psych up for the performance, work with the face, with the mood. We are very grateful to her that she came and helped us to prepare for this competition," the gymnasts said.
The group members also thanked the entire Academy team.
"We would like to thank the entire coaching staff of the Academy for working with us and, certainly, we want to thank Alina Kabaeva for the opportunity to perform at such a wonderful tournament," they said.
At the tournament in Moscow, the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association gymnasts won silver medals in the all-around and the exercise with five pairs of clubs, as well as gold in the exercise with five hoops.
