Russian National team Head coach Tatyana Sergaeva sums up the results of the Cup of the Strongest final

Russian National team Head coach Tatyana Sergaeva summed up the results of the Cup of the Strongest final.
She shared her impressions and assessed the competition's battle for the lead:
"It was a wonderful experience. I enjoyed the battle, especially the seniors, for the lead. I'm really happy for Masha that after a tough start, she focused and worked hard. Her ribbon today was absolutely fantastic. This international competition will give her more and more confidence. I think she needs to travel more often to build that confidence here," Tatyana said.
The specialist explained how the AEON Cup World Club Championships in Japan helped the gymnasts:
"After the competition in Japan, I said once more that we need to reconsider a bit: we need to make the risks more challenging, because that's where we're lacking, and we need to execute the elements more precisely. And as the previous competition in Japan showed us, we need to make the emotions even more powerful. Now they need to be conveyed in a way that every judge can see. So, after this trip to Japan, the girls tried to show it. Look, Ulyana revealed a completely different side of herself today. I really liked how she heard and saw what needed to be done and tried to demonstrate it now. The same with Masha; she's become much more powerful. While there were mistakes, they happened, the energy and delivery of the routines were different. I'll tell you right away about Ksyusha, she's a fighter. The way she presented herself in Japan, I already told her there, she has a fighting spirit, which she's demonstrated now, because there is a slump. After a strong start, there's a very significant decline. She fought through it and did well; she held on. I can say the same about the girls who went to the CIS Games. Look how they fought. Our kids are great, they're all heroes. I want them, no matter what, to have the willpower to keep fighting," she said.
The final of the Cup of the Strongest was held in Moscow from October 19 to 21.
