Sky Grace gymnasts from Ulyanovsk share their emotions after performing at the international tournament Ojaq Cup

The International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Club Association Eva Tregubova, Diana Sysoeva and Amina Sharafutdinova from Ulyanovsk finished their performances at the international tournament Ojaq Cup in Baku and shared their impressions.

Eva Tregubova assessed her performances at the competition.

"I performed alright with the ball. The first part was good; for the second one, I was too nervous. I performed alright, better with clubs. I like when I do the jete risk with two chaines. I am also fond of the whole exercise in general. It is so bright and cool. The hall is very big. I imagined it for myself that this is like the Olympics for me," Eva said.

Diana Sysoeva told how she battles anxiety and how her coach Elizaveta Chernova helps her with it.

"It is scary sometimes when it’s the first time. And not so scary when it’s the second time. Elizaveta Chernova helps me calm down. I tell myself that I am great, that I will do everything well, and I calm down," Diana said.

She also shared what advice she receives from her coach.

"How to catch the object properly, when to extend my legs, when to smile. That I need to flex my feet and catch the apparatus right," she added.

Amina Sharafutdinova talked about the changes in the program and her main goal.

"I am doing the program that I had choreographed back in Ulyanovsk. I had two risks changed for me, many various skills, and there is also an element that we changed. I have the goal of becoming the Olympic champion. I want to thank all the coaches and Alina Kabaeva for the opportunity to be at a tournament like this," Amina said.

The international Ojaq Cup tournament in Baku runs from October 3 to 6.
