Gymnasts from Belgorod share their expectations from the international tournament Sky Grace Cup in Qatar

Gymnasts from Belgorod at the Academy of Martial Arts are preparing for a trip to the international Sky Grace Cup tournament, to which they received an invitation from the Sky Grace International Clubs Association.

Maggie Nassef told how she found out that she would go to the competition, and singled out a gymnast who is an example for her.

"We were lying in the room, then my mom sends me a photo, a message: "We're going to Qatar." I was delighted, I told the girls. It will be a very interesting tournament, because there will be girls from Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Qatar itself too. I'm waiting for fun moments, the most important thing is from the girls of the first places. I root for all the girls of Sky Grace, but most of all I admire and am inspired by Maria Borisova. She has artistic and dance tracks, clear elements."

Arina Sergeeva also noted which gymnast of the team will be rooting for at the tournament:

"I'm waiting for emotions so that everyone gets into the music and that everyone succeeds. I'm rooting for Kristina Voitenko. I really like her: she is flexible, plastic."

Angelina Galagan thanked Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva for this opportunity:

"The coach informed us about this when Alina Kabaeva said that we would be able to fly there, cheer for our girls. The girls from Sky Grace will perform there, we will go there to cheer for them. I want to thank Alina Kabaeva for inviting us there."

Sisters Ulyana and Vasilisa Bogucharsky also thanked the Olympic champion and their coaches, and also noted that they were surprised at the opportunity to visit abroad and cheer for the gymnasts of Sky Grace.

And Olga Pozdnyakova shared how the preparations for the trip are going.

"We draw posters, come up with speeches. I know there will be a lot of gymnasts from Sky Grace and not only. Many thanks to Alina Kabaeva. She gave us the opportunity to be here, to train, to live, to study."

The international Sky Grace Cup tournament will be held from November 20 to 22 in Doha, the capital of Qatar. 

All expenses for the trip are covered by the Academy.
