The Academy's students shared their impressions of the Moscow State Circus and the performance of The Fisherman and the Fish, which they attended as part of the Christmas gathering.
Yana Zaikina from Volgograd shared what she remembered most.
"I really liked it here because there were such incredible, very beautiful tricks. There were people walking on these sticks and somehow they managed to do somersaults. I also liked the monkeys the most. This monkey, she was such a cutie," Yana said.
Anna Vakulenko from Volgograd noted that she visited a large circus and saw the Zapashny brothers for the first time.
"I liked the circus itself most of all. It was simply magnificent. It’s my first time in such a big circus. I really liked it, and most of all I liked the Zapashny brothers, because I saw them for the first time in my life, and they get so into their roles, and their acting is really cool," Anna said.
And Elvira Belyaeva from Gatchina shared that she was impressed by the various tricks done by the circus performers and animals.
"I am just overwhelmed with emotions. It was amazing. There were all sorts of interesting tricks, there were animals that also showed all sorts of tricks, there were people who did somersaults. I liked the walruses the most. They danced very funny, they were very funny," Elvira said.
The training camp for athletes was organized by the founders of the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.
