"Gymnasts are lucky to be in сonditions like this!" Coach and judge Olga Chistyakova talks about the Academy

Honored Master of Sports Olga Chistyakova works as a judge at the All-Russian Formula of Victory competitions. In addition, she came to the Academy for the tournament along with her students. Among them are Ksenia Ovsyannikova and Arina Gorchatova.

The coach spoke about the goals her students want to achieve.

"We came to the Formula of Victory competition to perform in an individual program. We brought girls of different ages: we have 2009, 2012, 2014, and also some little ones. We came to this competition with a girl, a Master of Sports candidate, Ksenia Ovsyannikova, and she will try to get Master of Sports, because she already has one certificate from a previous competition, that’s the southern federal district championship," Olga said.

She also appreciated the rules of the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Clubs Association.

"Arina Gorchatova will now go to Sky Grace at the end of May to perform in Minsk under the pre-junior program. The Sky Grace program, of course, is different from the All-Russian rules. It has its own specifics, but I like these rules. There is more clarity, specificity in composition, a set of elements, definitions that need to be made. What Sky Grace has come up with is clear and everything looks respectable.  There are a lot of interesting elements there. Girls who have good abilities, of course, can perform these difficult elements, and these elements are assessed differently, the difficulty is more complicated, the score is higher," she said.

The coach also noted the conditions at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.

"This is my first time in this hall. Of course, I am very impressed, because it is a wonderful, magnificent hall. Didn’t have this before. That is, of course, the gymnasts are lucky to be in conditions like this and perform in this arena," she said.
