Gymnast Maria Klyushina talks about the performance of the Avangard Society team staged for the festival at the tournament for Sky Grace partners

Nizhny Novgorod Avangard Society gymnast Maria Klyushina spoke about how their team managed to convey the idea of ​​the showcase performance at the gala concert for the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association partners tournament.

"In order to put together a touching performance and to touch each person to the depths of their souls, we watched videos about that period of time and listened to stories from our parents, from coaches. We tried to convey it exactly one hundred percent, so that everyone understood it. Our performance features the music “And there will be the month of May”. The number itself is about women, about mothers who are waiting for their children to come home from the frontlines, waiting for news from them. It is very difficult, this time is the whole war. But then in the end: "And there will be the month of May, and there will be a way home." This is sung in this song. It means that victory will come, and everything will be well," Maria said.

The team of the Avangard society from Nizhny Novgorod performed at the festival of showcase performance, which took place on December 1 at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace  Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.
