Gymnast Malika Timurshina and teacher Dmitry Stepanchikov talked about dancing classes during training camps at the Academy

Gymnast Malika Timurshina from Kazan shared her impressions of dancing classes during the recovery camps at the Academy:

"It was our first time dancing at the training camp. I liked them. It was a very interesting bundle, and I remember it very much. There's a slow part and a fast part where you need to speed up. I think this format is very useful. In the exercise, I will open up more, make smoother movements. This is only a plus for us." 

Teacher Dmitry Stepanchikov spoke about the importance of choreography in gymnastics:

"Girls should be very good at controlling their bodies, be musical and quickly adapt to their programs. Therefore, you have to dance with them in a lot of different styles. The gymnast moves in a peculiar way, she has her own unique plasticity. And we need to add dancing to it so that it can open up. Now we can go deep into dance training and try something new." 

The specialist also noted the programs of the Academy's students.:

"Sky Grace has very strong programs. Irina Zenovka is coming — quite successful programs. Ksenia Savinova has good ones, Karolina Tarasova has interesting clubs."

The training camp at the Academy will last until July 4th.
