Gymnast Lyuba Zaruchevskaya spoke about the preparations for the St. Petersburg Championship

Gymnast Lyuba Zaruchevskaya, who represented the national team of the city's clubs at the St. Petersburg championships, spoke about the preparation for the competition and her best elements:
"For me, this is the most important start of 2025. My coach and I have been preparing for it for a very long time. Very strong girls, I also strive for this level and try to learn new elements. One of my favorite elements is the ring without help. I've had it in my exercises since I was very young. It's also been a long time since I've had jumps that touch bending over. I've been trying to learn them for a very long time and bring them to perfection. Now I'm still trying to learn how to bend over the table step by step. They are expensive according to the new rules and look very nice."
The gymnast shared how she came to rhythmic gymnastics:
"When I was three years old, I started putting all the dolls on the splits and telling my mom that they were gymnasts and I also wanted to be a gymnast. And so mom took me to gymnastics."
In addition, Lyuba highlighted her favorite gymnasts at the Academy and noted that she would like to participate in the competitions of the Sky Grace International Clubs Association:
"Masha Borisova is very beautiful. Also, of course, I really like Ksyusha Savinova. I would really like to participate in the Sky Grace competition."
The St. Petersburg Championship runs from February 26 to March 1.
