During the World Cup in Tashkent, Takhmina Ikromova from Uzbekistan told how she felt during performances in her native country:<blockquote>"It's incredibly pleasant, of course, to perform here, because a lot of my friends came, and my mother and my family came. They all supported me, and when I came out, the stands shouted and squeaked so loudly. It was very nice! And, of course, for me, this is a kind of pressure when you go out at home, in your home country."</blockquote>The gymnast shared the secrets to executing her signature move — the ring pirouette:<blockquote>"It seems to me that I worked it out as a child. When everyone learns every element, and we somehow paid a lot of attention to it. Well, I can say that if you don't work it out every day in adulthood, it's clear that the element will go away. And my coach and I work on it every day, try to make it exactly as four turns in the program and, if it doesn't work, we redo it so that we get exactly the number that is needed. Is there anyone who is an example to follow? At first, it was Yana Kudryavtseva, because she span in this pivot very beautifully on a high half-toe. And then Arina Averina, she also had a great shape, I think, of this pivot, and I really liked it."</blockquote>She also recalled a childhood story about Yana Kudryavtseva:<blockquote>"I remember, she was walking to the bus after the World Cup stage in our Tashkent, and I literally ran after her for 200 meters at high speed. I'm happy with my performance because it was my first big competition, but I hope it gets better. We try to make every routine unique. That is, the hoop is slower and more lyrical, the ball is more feminine, the clubs are more dance-like, and the ribbon is more strict in style, you could say. It's important to me that the audience feels this too, that I can convey my emotions in different styles."</blockquote>The athlete revealed the details of the creation of a new named element:<blockquote>"My coach and I have been wanting to do a special element for a while. We also submitted a turn, like in figure skating, a leaning turn, like an attitude turn, but with the body on the side. But, unfortunately, it wasn't accepted. And also this element, which has now been approved, we tried to submit it in 2023, but it wasn't accepted there either. We decided to try it again this year, since all the rules have changed. And I'll be honest, my hoop isn't perfect, like everyone else's. So I thought, why not make it a little easier for some gymnasts and try it with their hand. You can also do a planche turn, and this one. I thought it would be good for other gymnasts to try something new too."</blockquote>In addition, she shared the history of meeting Mariia Borisova:<blockquote>"We saw each other at Gymnastik International in Germany, at a competition.
