Evgenia Eliseeva shared her expectations from the tournament in Yekaterinburg

Academy student Elvira Belyaeva from Gatchina has finished preparing for the international competition in Yekaterinburg. At the tournament she will perform according to Russian rules in the first category program.
After the lesson, the gymnast’s coach Evgenia Eliseeva shared her expectations from the competition.
“We restructured the program again, because before that we were doing the Sky Grace program. But in general, we tried to do the maximum so that she would do clean elements, since according to the Russian rules, elements and risks are now assessed very strictly. We've only added into the program what she actually does, so hopefully we'll get a good number of points,” the coach said.
She also noted that thanks to control training sessions, her student was well prepared for the competition.
“It will be quite difficult for all the girls, because this is a big competition, the strongest girls from all over Russia will perform there. But I think we can handle it, we are well prepared, we had a lot of control training sessions,” Evgenia said.
International competition, which is part of the Russian Cup Final, will take place in Yekaterinburg from December 1 to 7. In addition to Elvira Belyaeva, the Academy will be represented at the competition by Anna Vakulenko from Volgograd, Olga Chernykh and Valeria Medvedeva from Novosibirsk.
