"This is an excellent place!" Head of the Cuban Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation speaking about the Academy

The head of the Cuban Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation, Yainet Villalta Peña told how classes with coaches from the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy help Gretel Mendoza and Isabella Rojas improve their skills. 

"We notice significant improvements with Gretel Mendoza as she is taking part in competitions. Isabella is still a very young gymnast. She is gradually improving her training level also and she still needs to work but we are very happy, because the tenure of both gymnasts in the Academy benefited them a lot and was positive for the state of health. When our gymnasts participate in the training camp in the Academy, this is a guarantee for our Federation that they are preparing in an excellent place."

She also noted that gymnasts received an invitation for the 2nd CIS Games in Minsk during their participation in the Academy training camp. 

"It is so beautiful in Belarus and in Minsk. People are very hearty, very good. The tournament level is very high. Gymnasts of the highest qualification took part in it." 

Athletes from Cuba Gretel Mendoza and Isabella Rojas participated in 2nd CIS Games from August 4 to 6.
