“This is the most important competition in their athletic career!” Tatiana Kolesnikova talks about the Sky Grace Association team at the BRICS Games

President of the St. Petersburg Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics Tatiana Kolesnikova told us how the group exercise team from the Zhemchuzhina Center of Rhythmic Gymnastics, which has just recently returned with a victory from the summer Spartakiad, are preparing to perform in Kazan:

“The girls were, of course, shocked, to put it mildly. Many thanks to Alina Kabaeva, first of all, for granting this honor and trust to our team. They won the Sky Grace Cup among juniors and literally just yesterday they returned from the Student Spartakiad, where they also won these competitions, and I congratulate them with that.”

 She also noted that the BRICS Games is the most important competition in the career of gymnasts:

“They arrived late yesterday, and they are already training this morning. They train in full force, they are very determined. So, we are doing everything possible. Everything that is up to us. I think that this is probably the most important competition in their athletic career. We’re going to pray that everything works out for them.”

Gymnasts will perform in Kazan under the Juniors program as part of the Sky Grace International Association team.
