“This is simply fantastic!” Yana Batyrshina talks about Sky Grace’s participation  in the BRICS Games ​

Ahead of the BRICS Games, the silver medalist of the 1996 Olympic Games and the official ambassador of the competition, Yana Batyrshina, expressed appreciation about the opportunities that gymnasts from different countries received thanks to the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association.

“I believe that the Sky Grace team is unique; no one else has such a team. The fact that representatives from three different countries can be on one team is simply fantastic. This gives such opportunities and prospects to all gymnasts. Participating in all the Sky Grace qualifying tournaments in order to then get to large competitions like these, is such an incentive, such a motivation, because, naturally, not all girls can qualify for their national teams to go to the largest tournaments. I couldn’t even imagine that this would even be possible. I know that now everyone wants to participate in order to compete, to qualify for Sky Grace,” Yana said.

She also shared her expectations for her upcoming trip to the BRICS Games as an official ambassador.

“I am the official BRICS Games ambassador of all of the competitions, not only rhythmic gymnastics, so this is a special competition for me. At the rhythmic gymnastics tournament I will see the strongest gymnasts and plan to take part in the awards ceremony. This is an incredible honor for me. I, of course, look forward to bright and strong performances, interesting battles and competition. In general, the recent competitions have shown that this will be the case. So, most importantly, I wish all the girls good luck. To showcase everything that they can do,” she said.
