"This is a very important moment!" Polina Semenova on her performance for the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association at the tournament in Baku

Polina Semenova from Ryazan competed at the Winter Fairytale international tournament in Baku. She won gold in the ball exercise and came in third in the all-around among gymnasts born in 2011.

The athlete shared what it means to her to perform for the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association.

"For me, this is a very important moment. I don’t want to let the team down, I want us to always be ahead. I learned a lot. There was feedback. We worked on it. Not everything worked out. Ekaterina Lots and I worked very hard and for a long time on the programs so that everything would work out here. There has to be excitement, because even without excitement there are mistakes. Even if you are in the right mood, something still works out for some people, and not for others.Alina Kabaeva and Ekaterina Lots helped me. I am very grateful to them. thank them very much for cleaning up my program and telling me all my mistakes," she said. 

She prepared for the international Winter Fairytale tournament in Baku under the guidance of Ekaterina Lots at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.
