“This is a performance about a girl who follows her dream." Anastasia Salos talks about performing at the EVGENIYA CUP tournament gala show
Belarusian gymnast Anastasia Salos looked at her own performance at the EVGENIYA CUP gala show, an international tournament named to honor Evgenia Kanaeva
“I came here especially to perform at the gala show,” the gymnast admitted. “This is a performance about a girl who goes after her dream and is ready to work very hard to achieve it.”
The gymnast also noted that this number is about her and about Evgenia Kanaeva, who she calls her hero.
“Evgenia is an incredibly soulful person, she will always offer support and help in difficult times. She motivates me to work. I know that Evgenia is the kind of person who spent an entire day working out. And it helped her achieve her dream!” Salos said.
Salos also shared her impressions of the performance at the G-Drive Arena in Omsk.
“I did not expect that the tournament would be held at an arena so big. It’s huge and cannot compare with ordinary halls. It is very interesting and exciting to perform here, because there are so many spectators, supporters, and fans. Because of this, I want to do everything even better, as good as possible, to make sure the audience enjoys it,” she said.
The EVGENIYA CUP, the international tournament named to honor the two-time Olympic champion Evgenia Kanaeva was held in Omsk on April 28-30.
Anastasia Salos is a multiple winner of the World and European Championships, and a participant of the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
