"This is our brightest and most important tournament". Choreographer Yulia Markovskaya talks about the importance of the Crystal Rose international tournament

Choreographer Yulia Markovskaya explained why the Crystal Rose International tournament is important for local athletes:

"The Crystal Rose is our brightest and most important tournament, it's like a cherry on the cake, and we are glad therefore that so many countries have come to us. Of course, the girls feel a lot of responsibility, so we have been preparing for the Crystal Rose painstakingly and for a long time. Of course, the girls are working a lot on the character, on transitions, on synthesizing the music and the exercise together."

This is not the first time that the Academy students have performed at the Crystal Rose: in 2023, the competition in Minsk became their international debut. The specialist shared how the gymnasts have changed in two years:

"The girls have grown a lot in their skills, in their professionalism, in their dedication to sports, probably in some of their adulthood in exercise, so it's great to watch children climb the professional ladder right at the Crystal Rose, and we therefore are very happy that the girls are coming. And we really hope that this tournament will later become a new step for them to measure how they are growing in the professional field."

The Crystal Rose international competition is being held in Minsk from July 25 to 27.
