"It's a big responsibility!" Academy coach Olesya Kovaleva talks about participation in the Golden Cup tournament in Slovakia

Olesya Kovaleva, the coach and judge of the Academy, told how the Golden Cup tournament for our gymnasts went.
"It went great. The girls performed and demonstrated all their exercises. One of the participants, Karolina Tarasova, had a new exercise with clubs, she showed us. And I think she's done her job, with a new exercise."
She also mentioned the advantages of international competitions.
"It's one thing to perform at home, in your own country, on your carpet, in your home gym, but it's another thing — you're going to a completely different country. There are also different gymnasts, coaches, and girls getting to know each other. And, of course, everything is very exciting for them. Because it's such a big responsibility to represent your country in the international arena. The experience is invaluable to compete in such competitions."
Our gymnasts do not need a neutral status for participation because this is a club tournament and the girls were invited to perform as athletes of the Sky Grace International Clubs Association.
