"If you like the music, then everything comes from the heart." Ksenia Savinova on her performance at the interregional Sky Grace Cup tournament

After performing at the interregional Sky Grace Cup tournament, Ksenia Savinova from Gatchina told how she learned to perform a new skill and what helps her feel the music. 

"I liked the tournament. A lot of girls came, supported us, and clapped. There are mistakes that need to be worked on. Most of all, we need to work on the elements, because they didn’t work out very well at these competitions. Olga Minigalina showed the skills of both legs into the hoop. I tried, and I succeeded. If you like the music, then it all comes from the heart, and then you can insert a point somewhere, look at the judges somewhere," she said.

The gymnast also thanked the entire Academy staff.

"I want to thank Alina Kabaeva, the entire coaching staff, because they helped us and talked about elements, mistakes, and the doctors - for treating us," the gymnast said. 

At the tournament in Sirius, Ksenia showed the second result among the Academy students in the all-around competition in the Master of Sports candidates program.
