“If you want to achieve the goal, you need to work.” Judge Natalia Laschinskaya speaks about the artistry role in performances of gymnasts

Judge Natalia Laschinskaya worked at the Sky Grace Tournament in St. Petersburg. The specialist explained, what opportunities are given by competitions to gymnasts from regions:

“Plenty of people came from the region; wonderful children came from Petrozavodsk. They, certainly, are so eager and have such great pleasure to prepare for this competition: hairdressing, and new leotards tailored, and the new music selected for the routine. This is definitely a milestone for them.”

Natalia Laschinskaya also explained why the athletes should work more on artistry:

“Artistry is the weak spot among practically all the children. And artistry is currently in the focus. They are dealing with the apparatus so far, you see, with elements, with the apparatus, while this should be done in aggregate. They have not set themselves free thus far. If you want to achieve the goal, you need to work.”
