"My greatest emotion is the feeling that I've done everything!" Mariia Borisova talks about her impressions of the World Cup stage in Tashkent

Mariia Borisova shared her impressions of the World Cup stage in Tashkent:
"My emotions are most of all not from the gold medal itself but from the feeling that I have done everything. I did everything I could. We all saw four exercises without losses, and I felt so confident that I can, I manage to do it consistently. Before the first appearance, I was very nervous, despite the fact that I had already had two such international events. This competition is a little higher in status, so I was worried, but I was focused and exercised control."
She spoke about the support from coach Irina Gusarova, the Academy and Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva:
"At this competition, I was so much supported by Irina Nikolaevna, my coach. Incredible support in general after each type and before each appearance. She always believed in me at workouts and convinced me that everything would work out for me, that I could do it and that I was strong. It cheered me up so much that I really believed and I succeeded in the all-around. Alina Maratovna was in touch, supported and set me up for the performance, do everything in discipline, keep in control and relax then there, sitting on the sofas after the performance."
The athlete thanked everyone who helped her achieve this result:
"I want to thank everyone involved in this result. We have gold, can you imagine? We have not been on the international arena for four years, and now we have gold in the individual all-around. This is our common victory. First of all, I would like to thank, of course, Alina Maratovna. I also want to thank Irina Nikolaevna. And in general, for Irina Nikolaevna it is the second competition that she watches live. In Thiais, she was standing, but there were trees, maybe the visibility was not good, but at this event she stood in the designated place for coaches and watched. So let's all rejoice together for Irina Nikolaevna. She is great. I want to thank the entire Academy and all the fans who support, who are worried, thank you very much. I want to thank Tashkent! Girls, thank you all. Thank you for greeting me so loudly and so warmly."
Mariia Borisova won a silver medal in the hoop final and gold in the all-around at the second stage of the World Cup.
