"It is very important and very responsible for them." Coach Natalia Grokhotova talks about the performance of gymnasts from Barnaul at the Young Sky Grace tournament

Natalia Grokhotova from the Altai Territory, whose trainees perform at the All-Russian Young Sky Grace competition, told us what the tournament under Sky Grace rules means for the gymnasts from Barnaul:

"The tournament is going great, in a warm, friendly atmosphere, as always. We are very grateful to Alina Kabaeva for inviting us to a tournament like this. Our girls were selected at the interregional tournament, and we came here to compete, to show a good performance. It is very important and very responsible for them. They learn to perform."

She shared with us how she motivates the athletes before going to the mat:

"Usually we set up the team and each gymnast also individually. Each one has her own character. There are some very responsible children — they need to be told that everything will work out, calm them down. Some, on the contrary, need to be cheered up."

The specialist also told us how her daughter Darya Grokhotova changed after performing for the team of the Sky Grace International Clubs Associatio:

"When Alina Kabaeva expressed such confidence in Daria Grokhotova, Dasha opened up in a different way. She is always a little worried and also takes competitions very seriously. And when she was given such an opportunity, she, of course, took advantage of it. Participating for Sky Grace, she opened up a lot. I am very happy for her."
