"The conditions for girls are simply amazing." Elena Krivoshey visits the Academy for the first time

The bronze medalist of the 1996 Olympics Elena Pchelintseva (Krivoshey) visited the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy and shared her impressions.

"This is my first time at the Academy. I just came with my family to relax, and by a lucky chance we wrote back and forth to each other with Irina and she invited me here.  I'm really impressed, because the conditions are really incredible. A very big space, everything is very aesthetically pleasing, beautiful. Indeed, when I remember the conditions in which we trained... Simply amazing conditions have been created for girls now," she said.

Elena attended a training session at the Academy and gave advice to young gymnasts who will soon take part in the international tournament in Minsk.

"The girls are very seriously preparing. The mood is good, in a fighting spirit. In fact, of course, we always want them to perform from the heart, to enjoy the performance and that’s when everything works out.  If the technical component is well prepared, then just go on the mat, have fun, and then there will be a good result. I wish them good luck and to show everything they are capable of," she said.

Elena Pchelintseva (Krivoshey) won a bronze medal in group exercises at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta along with Academy coach Irina Dzyuba.
