Ekaterina Dyukova, Director of the Academy, talks about the performance of the juniors at the European Championships

Ekaterina Dyukova, Director of the Academy, spoke about Yana Zaikina's victory, Ksenia Savinova's silver and the support of Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva:

"I'm truly overwhelmed with emotion, and I'm incredibly happy. As the director, I congratulate our entire Academy, our large, close-knit team, and our dear Alina Maratovna on our student Yanochka Zaikina's gold medal at the European Championship.Of course, I congratulate the entire Russian team. First, our Yana made the National team. After taking second place at the Russian Championship, she earned a spot at the European Championship. Alina Maratovna worked with our girls every day, was in constant contact, and always supported them. And today, our Yanochka triumphantly won gold in the ribbon event at the European Championship.  I'm incredibly happy because our flag was raised today, our anthem was played. This is a historic moment, one we've all been waiting for. I'm delighted and congratulate our entire country on this victory. ТI also congratulate another one of our Academy students Ksyushenka Savinova, on her European Championship medal. She is also a member of the national team, and at the Russian Junior Championships, Ksyusha won the tournament, where she also won a quota to participate in the European Championships. She's a true fighter, and her silver medal today in the hoop event has a golden tint. Children, we are proud of you, hurray!"
