"The girls worked long and hard!" Coach Anastasia Egorova talks about the victory of group exercise gymnasts from the Ulyanovsk Region at the Young Sky Grace

Coach Anastasia Egorova came to the All-Russian Young Sky Grace competition together with group exercise gymnast from the Ulyanovsk Region. Her trainees won gold in the all-around at the tournament.

The professional told us how the girls had worked on their mistakes after the interregional competition:

"The girls worked long and hard, as they were fifth in the selection. They were unable to perform well, not everything worked out. They worked a lot on their artistry, on their performance, and changed their programs. Our whole big, friendly team prepared. Tatyana Gribkova, our head coach, Galina Savosina, the team coach, and a young coach, Karina Ruzanova, helped. When we found out that we had been selected and were going to Sochi, we were very happy."

Anastasia also highlighted distinctive features of the gymnasts from the Volga Federal District:

"It seems to me that all of our gymnasts are very emotional. And we try to work on purity."
