"Girls open up more, they are more artistic." Coach Tatyana Gribkova on the rules of the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association
Russia’s Honored Coach and judge Tatyana Gribkova spoke about her expectations from the all-Russian Sky Grace Cup competition at the Academy.
"We’ve arrived in a great mood, because there was time to prepare specifically according to the Sky Grace rules. The girls have to readjust, but, nevertheless, there was time to readjust. Five gymnasts from Ulyanovsk were included in the national team of the Volga Federal District for the Sky Grace Cup. They, of course, expect good performances, and I, as a coach, also understand that if everything goes well, we will be awesome," Tatyana said.
She noted that the rules of the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association help to reveal new aspects of the gymnasts’ talent.
"According to the Sky Grace rules, more girls open up. They become more artistic. We tried to make the program diverse. But I still prefer the classics, and I still prefer this style, more classic, not modern," she said.
The All-Russian rhythmic gymnastics Sky Grace Cup competition is held at the Academy, April 10 to 14.
