"Girls need to gain experience of performing for the national team!" Tatyana Sergaeva talks about the competitions of Russia and Belarus

During the Cup of the Strongest Athletes of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, the head coach of the Russian national team, Tatyana Sergayeva, noted the importance of such starts for the gymnasts of the national team:

"This is a brilliant idea, so I want to say a big thank you to the ministers of our two countries for such a wonderful celebration, which is now organized in the palace. For us, for the Russian national team, this is an ideal option: the girls need to gain experience. The experience of playing not for myself, but for the national team. Therefore, in my opinion, it was absolutely necessary."

The specialist shared her impressions of the gymnasts' performance and summed up the results:

"It's a good start, a good lesson, including for Masha Borisova: it didn't work out for her, so we need to think over a strategy for preparing for serious start-ups, which we will do. I'm really glad for the group exercise. They finally showed that they are a team. For me, it is very pleasant that they will not stop there, but will move on."
