Champion of the All-Russian Young Sky Grace competition Veronika Malinina talks about the images in the programs

Academy student Veronika Malinina from St. Petersburg became the champion of the All-Russian Young Sky Grace competition in the all-around.

After the award ceremony, the gymnast talks about the images in her programs.

"In my hoop I have the image of a witch. I walk around casting spells, bewitching everyone. My ball is patriotic, it sings about Russia, about blue lakes. It is so Russian to me. The clubs are fast, cheerful and dynamic, and the ribbon is Yagoda Malinka from Smeshariki combined with Khabib," Veronika said.

The gymnast also thanked Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva and her coaches.

"I want to thank Alina  and Irina for working with me, and also the choreographer Elena. And, of course, Alina Kabaeva for working with us and holding control training sessions."
