"It was a very big responsibility." Ksenia Savinova on her performance at the international tournament in Baku

Ksenia Savinova shared her impressions after her performance at the international Ojaq Cup tournament.

"I was nervous, because this was my second start of the season, so the responsibility was very big, especially since I have new programs. We, of course, root for each other, support each other, if someone is upset, we encourage them to go all the way," Ksenia said.

She shared what her coach Evgenia Eliseeva and Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva have been teaching her.

"I get a lot of advice from Evgenia Eliseeva to flex my feet, not to worry, that I’ll succeed, and believe in myself. And from Alina Kabaeva, you have to perform like you’re training,and treat competitions like a holiday," the young gymnast said.

The gymnast from Gatchina won gold medals in the all-around, in exercises with a ball and ribbon, she performs for the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association.

Ksenia lives, studies and trains at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.
