Fans shared their emotions from the World Cup stage in Milan.
Valeria Zhivova and her daughter came from St. Petersburg to support our gymnasts at the World Cup stage in Milan. She told me what emotions she feels from the competition:
"We are from St. Petersburg, we came to support our Russian national team. We went to take a rest and specially came here. Certainly, I would like to see more stability. The girls are great nevertheless! And I am confident that tomorrow they will certainly brace themselves and we will see the best exercises in the finals. The most important is to stay calm. They can do everything, they are pretty well aware of that. They are so smart! They just need to cope with the nerves."
Young fan Anastasia came from Bulgaria with her father Stoyan to watch performances of gymnasts. She shared that she collects autographs of athletes:
"I got like a shirt and I got some signatures of some other gymnasts at the competition. And I also was in the same hotel for a day, so I also got some signatures there."
She also conveyed her wishes to the Russian gymnasts:
"I think you do very well. And just keep working hard and you will accomplish all your goals."
