"The Association took its place in rhythmic gymnastics development!" Tatiana Sergaeva talking about influence of the Sky Grace on global sport
We met Honored Coach of Russia Tatiana Sergaeva at the Sky Grace Grand Prix international competition in Minsk.
The coach told us about the preparation for the competition.
"I am very happy to be in Minsk at a superb, the most beautiful tournament. We are working non-stop now; we have revised exercises a bit and made minor changes for a portion of the music. Compositions nevertheless remain the same in general and the training plan consisted of perfecting what we have and polishing."
Tatiana Sergaeva explained, what is unique with the Sky Grace International Association and why it is so important for the future of rhythmic gymnastics.
"The Association took its place in rhythmic gymnastics development, right its track. There is one way, there is another way, and you are right on your own way and I exactly like it because it provides an opportunity to develop independently from something and somebody. This gives an opportunity to think up and develop some new methodologies, new rules, and a new style in rhythmic gymnastics. I think this is an absolutely right path that will lead to very interesting results, in my opinion. It seems to me that this style has a future because development is exactly with synergy of sports, choreography and creativity."
Tatiana Sergaeva also shared her opinion about influence of the Sky Grace International Association on the global sport.
"Now, for example, FIG is moving to artistry to a greater degree. They have the sport departing slowly. Alina Maratovna is endeavoring to do everything together in the Sky Grace and this is right."
