Angelina Ipatova and Alisa Medvedeva sum up the results of the interregional Sky Grace Cup tournament

Angelina Ipatova, the winner of the interregional Sky Grace Cup tournament  in St. Petersburg, assessed her performance at the competition.

"We worked quite a lot on the programs, I tried to show my best, to do everything that was choreographed for me. There is something to work on, that’s good. So we will move on, I am glad that I managed to show my program. We have quite a serious competition, since gymnasts from other regions performed, and it was interesting to watch them too," Angelina said.

She also talked about her plans to train ahead of the All-Russian tournament.

"We need to add combined elements, which are expensive according to the Sky Grace rules, and we’ll add some more emotional aspects," Angelina said.

Alisa Medvedeva, the champion of the Sky Grace Cup in Moscow, shared the story of her exercise with clubs.

"In clubs: first of all, it is very important for me that each of my exercises has some meaning, that I convey to the audience, to the judges, some of my vision of this program, this music with each of my programs. I got this program from our Moscow gymnast, I grew up with her, Olya Karaseva, a European champion.Of course, it’s hard to work on artistry, but somehow I’m good at it, and on the contrary, it’s easier for me to perform with more emotions,  than when I tense up," Alisa said.

In 2024, Angelina Ipatova and Alisa Medvedeva took part in the qualifying tournament Sky Grace Cup.
