“It was hard with the ribbon, but it was fine with the other objects.” Karolina Tarasova about the Zhong Ling Cup tournament

Karolina Tarasova, Academy student from Donetsk, described her feelings at the Zhong Ling Cup tournament in Beijing, where she took second place in the all-around and first place in exercises with clubs:

“It was hard with the ribbon, but okay on other types. I was a little worried. It was very hot. My hands were slippery, I was all sticky, the ribbon got stuck”. 

Also, the young athlete spoke about the support from the Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva, for whom will bring a special trophy cup from China:

“Alina Kabaeva called us the day before, advised us not to rush, to do everything calmly. Not be afraid, because if we are afraid, then everything will be rattled with us and we will lose everything. She calmed us down. It helped us” .

At the international tournament Zhong Ling Cup, the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy was also represented by junior Kristina Voitenko and pre-junior Ksenia Savinova, who won the all-around in their categories.
