“Alina Maratovna told me, 'You need to take risks now, while you are young'.” Evelina Tandalova talks about emotions after the Crystal Rose tournament

Evelina Tandalova became the champion of the all-around among juniors at the Crystal Rose international tournament. After the competition, she shared her emotions:
"I really liked it because the atmosphere here is amazing, and the stands are completely packed. I did a better job with my clubs because I performed with them basically without any major mistakes. Alina Maratovna told me, 'You need to take risks now while you are young and learn everything so that it will be easier later on.' I want to thank the entire Academy: Evgenia Mikhailovna, Olga Dmitrievna, Alina Maratovna, Elizaveta Sergeevna, the choreographers, and Ekaterina Medorovna. I also want to thank Vera Gennadievna, who worked with us in Novogorsk and did our choreography classes. I want to thank my first coaches, Irina Alexeevna Koshevaya and Olga Pavlovna Petrova. Many thanks to them for everything, and a massive thank you to the whole Academy as well."
The gymnast noted how her performances have changed over the past five months at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy:
"I feel like I've become more consistent. My competition performances are more stable now, and I've also improved my turns."
Evelina also told why the first call from Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva before going to the carpet was special for her:
"Probably the most memorable moment was when Alina Maratovna guided me over a phone call for the first time. I think I will remember that forever. It made me feel a bit more relieved. And even inspiration appeared with me."
The athlete is coached by Evgenia Eliseeva and Olga Minigalina, and Ekaterina Belova is the choreographer. The gymnast lives and trains at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.
