"The whole festival is very touching." Two-time Olympic champion Elena Zamolodchikova talks about the festival in Sirius

Two-time Olympic champion in artistic gymnastics Elena Zamolodchikova shared her impressions of the Alina-2025 festival.

"First of all, I want to thank the organizers for the invitation and, of course, this is another reason to meet friends, talk to young athletes. Of course, when I received the invitation, I understood all the responsibility that was placed upon me, because of how largescale the festival is. And I am participating for the first time, and I really like everything: how the training is organized, the rehearsals and in general how they treat the athletes and the participants. The whole festival is very touching, especially when they talk about child heroes. I even cried, because this is what our children need to know and what they need to tell. And such examples, of course, inspire," Elena said.

She talked about the Heroes of Sports performance, which she took part in.

"It seems to me, the specificity of our performance is that they do not forget. Time goes by, new heroes appear, but we must know history, remember and honor those who once, especially in difficult war times, nevertheless played sports and brought medals for the country," the Two-time Olympic champion said.

The International Children's Charity Festival was held on April 18 at the Martial Arts Academy in Sirius. It was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
