 </video>On April 23, Moscow hosted the Alina-2022 rhythmic gymnastics festival, which was dedicated to the 77th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.&nbsp;The idea of holding a festival, where not only famous athletes, but also young gymnasts can perform, belongs to Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva.Every year, from 30 to 50 teams from various Russian cities and 11 countries take part in the festival, including Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Germany, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Cuba and Japan. Arina Kovshova from the Novosibirsk Region won silver medal in the all-around at the Alina Kabaeva Grand Prix Champions Cup.Her coach is Elizaveta Chernova, and her choreographer is Elena Egorova. Arina's programs were choreographed by two-time Olympic champion Evgeniya Kanaeva. Previously, the gymnast trained with Tatyana Amelchenko.Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva also helped Arina prepare for this competition.

Eva Kononova from the Tyumen Region is the all-around winner of the Alina Kabaeva Grand Prix Champions Cup. Her coaches are Evgeniya Eliseeva and Olga Minigalina, and choreographer is Lyudmila Duganova.Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva helped her prepare for the tournament.Second and third place went to Arina Kovshova from the Novosibirsk Region and Milena Shchenyatskaya from the Rostov Region. However, only two gymnasts from a country can share the podium, so the bronze went to Natalia Usova from Uzbekistan.

Two-time champion of the USSR in rhythmic gymnastics, Honored Master of Sports of the USSR, Honored Coach of Russia in rhythmic gymnastics. Champion of the RSFSR. Honored Worker of Physical Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan.She was awarded the honorary badge For Merits in the Development of Physical Culture and Sports and the badge of Excellence in Physical Culture and Sports.Rozaliya Nazmutdinova was born on November 15, 1946, in Sverdlovsk. She became the fourth child in the family — after two brothers and an older sister, Liliya, the first Honored Master of Sports and fifteen-time champion of the USSR in rhythmic gymnastics. The family was large; later, Rozaliya would have two more sisters — Ilmira and Alfiya.&nbsp;Her parents worked as actors at the Tatar Theater before the Great Patriotic War. During the war, her father Bilal Nazmutdinov took part in it. After returning from the frontline, he worked as a shoemaker and even made gym shoes for his daughters to wear during workouts and competitions.Rozaliya began practicing rhythmic gymnastics in 1954 in a section at the Sverdlovsk Palace of Pioneers and Schoolchildren under the guidance of Honored Coach of the USSR Elizaveta Oblygina, the founder of rhythmic gymnastics in the Sverdlovsk Region.<a href="https://skygrace.ru/news/veterany-gimnastiki/veterany-hudozhestvennoy-gimnastiki-pervyy-master-sporta-sssr-liliya-nazmutdinova"> Lilia Nazmutdinova</a> was one of Oblygina's first students. She set an example and instilled love of rhythmic gymnastics in her younger sisters.During her school years, Rozaliya repeatedly became a winner and prize-winner of the RSFSR junior championships. In addition, she won the USSR championship among schoolchildren twice. In 1962, Rozaliya was awarded the title of Master of Sports of the USSR.<figure class="image"><img src="https://skygrace.ru/static/files/images/editor/ff3/01d/ff301dc12bab5d7357d6831e718ef206.jpg"></figure>After graduating from school in 1965, Rozaliya entered the State Pedagogical Institute in the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, continuing her sports career. The four sisters often competed together during that period. Thus, in 1967, the Sverdlovsk Region team, which included the Nazmutdinov sisters, took first place at the RSFSR championship.In 1966, Rozaliya Nazmutdinova was awarded the title of Honored Master of Sports of the USSR.The time of workouts and competitions left many happy memories. There have been some ridiculous incidents too. Rozaliya Nazmutdinova recalls,<blockquote>"At the USSR Championships in Tashkent, the competition took place on a stage. I tried so hard on the vault that I touched the curtain and fell. I lost my gold. I can look back on it with a smile now, but at the time it was really upsetting."&nbsp;</blockquote>Rozaliya began working as a coach and instructor at the Children’s Athletic School 1 at the Sverdlovsk Palace of Pioneers and Schoolchildren after graduating from the institute in 1969. In 1978, the children's and youth sports school for rhythmic gymnastics was established under the Sverdlovsk Regional Council of the Spartak Voluntary Athletic Society, where Rozaliya moved to work permanently along with Liliya, Alfiya, and Ilmira. On the 25th anniversary of the school, it was named after the Nazmutdinov sisters.&nbsp;<figure class="image"><img src="https://skygrace.ru/static/files/images/editor/cb7/70e/cb770e84e9fa45493bc7ada62b66ea31.jpg"></figure>Rozaliya participated in the training of Yulia Ivanova, the bronze medalist of the Olympic Games in Atlanta in group exercises and the many-time world and European champion, as well as Alisa Syukkya, the champion of Russia in group exercises. In 1997, the specialist was awarded the title of Honored Coach of Russia.&nbsp;Rozaliya completed her labor activity in December 2023. Her coaching experience is 54 years. Rozaliya Nazmutdinova says,<blockquote>"Coaching is a huge effort that requires complete dedication, love for children, and sports. Working with gymnasts taught me patience and discipline. You need to see a future star in every child. I wish beginner coaches to always be an example for their students."</blockquote>Rozaliya has a double surname; she met her husband back in school, and they got married during their institute years. Their son Igor competed in trampoline jumping, became the Master of Sports and the champion of Trudovye Rezervy society in synchronized trampoline. And one of their grandsons, Sergei, is currently working as a Muay Thai coach. Furthermore, Rozaliya has two great-grandchildren — Sergei and Viola.<img src="https://skygrace.ru/static/files/images/editor/596/afb/596afb09698bd43840a373a28776c1ca.jpg"> Rozaliya Nazmutdinova-Ratmanskaya is attending competitions in Yekaterinburg now as an honored guest and is preparing to celebrate her 80th anniversary at the end of this year. She holds the title of Honored Worker of Physical Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan and honorary badges of the Sports Valor, For Merit to the Sverdlovsk Region, 3rd Class, and For Merits in the Development of Physical Culture and Sports.&nbsp;We would like to thank Rozaliya and Ilmira Nazmutdinova and Olga Nikiforova for their help in preparing this article.

Natalia Belugina, the Alina Festival choreographer, has choreographed programs for many girls from Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy for this season, in particular Eva Kononova. After the Russian Championship, the specialist shared her impressions of Eva's performance:<blockquote>"I really liked it, especially the hoop routine. She has a Sherlock Holmes routine there, and she captured the image perfectly. New rules. Maybe more emotion is needed now, and Eva nailed it. I'm really happy she won the hoop."</blockquote>She also talked about the work on the production and the choice of musical composition for the program:<blockquote>"It's probably just that we already know what Eva can do, how she moves, what emotions she has. So, we listen to a lot of music and are like, 'Oh! This fits.' And it turned out that this music suited her very well."</blockquote>And she noted the positive character traits of Eva Kononova:<blockquote>"Eva works really hard. Even if, say, a coach watches another gymnast because she's performing to the music, Eva will do a lot, a lot, a lot herself. She doesn't need to be forced. And that's a really cool thing about an athlete. It's probably the best thing there is."</blockquote>

Elizaveta Chernova is the coach of the new Russian champion Arina Kovshova from the Novosibirsk Region. She spoke about the help of Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva during the preparation for the Russian Championship and congratulated the team of specialists on their victory:<blockquote>"Our preparation was tough. We were in the gym from morning until night, probably like every athlete. We were preparing. Alina Maratovna was always in touch. We had more than just one coach behind us, but a huge, huge team. So, congratulations to everyone."</blockquote>She also shared her emotions from the final day of the tournament:<blockquote>"The atmosphere was so captivating, I still can't quite believe it. The emotions were diverse, but now, I think, they're emotions of joy and happiness. And we really did a great job with the first three events, very well. And now it's all behind us; we're taking what happened as an experience and moving forward."</blockquote>The Academy specialist also spoke about the character traits of Arina Kovshova that helped her win:<blockquote>"She did a great job, because this is her first appearance after a long break. And she fought so hard, not just to perform, but to actually fight and win... She's a very strong-willed girl."</blockquote>

The gymnast shared her emotions after the award ceremony and talked about the goals she set for herself:<blockquote>"Actually, I'm very happy. There was no specific task to get on the podium. The task was to perform well in the all-around competition, to complete it cleanly, without any losses, and beautifully."</blockquote>She also answered how she assesses her performances on the final day of the competition:<blockquote>"There was a loss in the ball exercise, but I am satisfied with today."</blockquote>The gymnast also talked about preparing for her first Russian Championship:<blockquote>"We trained at the base in Novogorsk. We had assessment training sessions. The judges arrived. They told us what was not valid for us. And we tried to correct these mistakes so that they would not be repeated at competitions."</blockquote>

Because after my loss, I still pulled myself together, which means I'm a fighter."</blockquote>The gymnast thanked Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva and the Academy team for their help in preparation:<blockquote>"I would like to thank everyone who helped me. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Alina Maratovna and all the coaches: Evgenia Mikhailovna, Olga Dmitrievna, and my choreographer Lyudmila Duganova. I want to thank the entire Academy because they sat with me every day until almost nightfall."</blockquote>Eva also won gold in the hoop and silver in the ribbon final.
