The Alina 2024 Festival was held on March 5 in Minsk and was dedicated to friendship of nations. Gymnasts and athletes from various Russian regions, Belarus, and from other countries took part in the festival.
Renowned gymnasts Dina and Arina Averins, Ekaterina Selezneva and Darya Trubnikova, as well as famous artists Ragda Khanieva, Natalya Podolskaya, Ruslan Alekhno, the state academic dance ensemble of Belarus, the state academic dance ensemble Vainakh, and the Cuban Cossack Choir took part in the show.
The festival was opened with the general routine dedicated to the 90th anniversary of rhythmic gymnastics that is celebrated in 2024. Performances dedicated to the culture of different countries and peoples were also presented at the festival: “China,” “Corner of Belarus,” “A meeting of Cuban Cossacks,” a Russian-Chechen folk dance, and “Lovely, brothers, lovely.” The idea of friendship of Russia and Belarus was separately recognized in the “Two sisters” performance. Furthermore, participants repeated the “Malevich” routine about the painter’s works already presented last year.
The festival is for the first time held in two countries in 2024. It was also staged in the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy in Sochi on March 2.
