The premiere of the television version of the Alina-2024 festival will take place on Children’s Day!
The Rossiya 1 TV channel will broadcast a real children's rhythmic gymnastics holiday on June 1. It’s scheduled to air at 12:00 Moscow time!
The TV version of the Alina-2024 festival has been voiced-over by sports commentator Dmitry Guberniev. He told us what it means to him to be part of a children’s rhythmic gymnastics festival.
"This is a really big deal. And every time it is impossible to remain indifferent when I host on stage, when I sit in the audience and watch the splendor of the Alina festival, or when I do voice-overs for television. The most important thing is the incredible eyes of the children, because I see the real work of all those who create the festival, the work of the foundation. I know a lot of athletes who are simply growing up before our eyes, from different countries, from different regions of the Russian Federation. And, of course, when you see great athletes in a variety of sports, brilliant cultural icons, and this magnificent combination gives us this feeling of an incredible celebration. And there is a lot of symbolism in that we are making this television version, which will be aired on the Rossiya 1 channel on Children’s Day," he said.
This year, for the first time the Alina festival was in two cities - Sochi and Minsk.
