Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva sums up the results of the Alina-2025 festival

Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva summed up the results of the Alina-2025 festival and thanked the large team of professionals who participated in creating the festival.
"I want to say many thanks to the children that performed at this festival, to organizers, directors and our whole big team, because without them there will be no such prominent festival that reminds all us about our history, our great history. When we started doing this project, we certainly did not expect that we would make it as such, because we merely showed our beautiful sport, and then it turned further into a very beautiful and important social project," Alina Kabaeva said.
She talked about the theme that was chosen for this year's festival.
"We celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory this year, the victory that remained in the hearts of our people. And certainly, we chose a challenging topic — about the young heroes of the Great Patriotic War," she said. Therefore, the festival turned out to be a wonderful one. The festival changed by new ideas coming, since we do not stand for our achievements but develop and we indeed understand that perfection has no limits,” she said.
The Olympic champion also noted that the festival gives gymnasts from different regions the opportunity to present themselves.
"This festival in actual fact is one more space to see these children from regions and we succeed in doing that. Today, by the way, head coach of the Russian national team Tatiana Sergaeva was at our event, and I assure you that she also saw plenty of little stars, with whom she would like to work. But all of them, certainly, should get into the Russian national team and we will create all the conditions for these children to join it," the Olympic champion said.
The International Alina-2025 Children's Charity Rhythmic Gymnastics Festival was held on April 18 at the Martial Arts Academy.
