"We always want it to be better and better." Natalia Belugina on working on the Alina-2025 festival

Choreographer Natalia Belugina shared her expectations for the Alina-2025 festival.
"I’ve been doing productions since 2015. Now it is the year 2025, a decade together thus far. As always, everything is new, everything is cool. I hope it will go even better than usual. We always want to have everything better and better. And we hope that it will be so this time," the choreographer said.
Natalia also told what her issues are dedicated to this year.
"My routines, yes, are linked to each other. Five main characters. There is such childhood, when nothing has happened yet, everything is good, summer holidays, the children have come, they have fun, make friends, and then aircraft are flying at the end. They understand that something is not as it should be, start fearing, moving closer to each other. Then the fires, the fire start, the children are afraid at the start, then they start struggling closer to the end of the routine, they already have forces appearing with them. And in the third routine, when all of them are already united, then such strong children are, they go forward and struggle with what is occurring," she said.
Natalia noted that the gymnasts, despite their young age, understand the meaning of the images they are working on quite well.
"They know this topic pretty well, they remember well that there was war, that great-grandfathers, great-grandmothers, grandmothers and so on took part in it. That it was fearful, that it was hard. They also watched movies, probably they tried to feel it at that time," she said.
