"We found a common language!" Artist Ilya Sudov on choreographing a performance  with athletes for the Alina-2025 festival

Ilya Sudov, an artist of the Volga State Song and Dance Ensemble shared what it means for him to work together with athletes for the Alina-2025 festival. 

"The impressions are supernatural so far. We arrived, shocked by everything that was happening. It is very beautiful, everything is gorgeous here. We have a folk group. We participate in the festival together with gymnasts. We’ve never crossed paths with gymnasts. This is our first experience. They have interesting stunts, the girls themselves are very interesting," Alexander said.

He shared how he prepared for the performance. 

"We rehearsed for about three days. And Alexander Mogilev came to us completely, fully. He's really cool, he quickly did the choreography. We rehearsed it, and everything got to be clean, everything was neat. We found a common language with the girls right away and quickly got involved, it was cool," he said. 

Artists from the Volga State Song and Dance Ensemble performed for the first time at the Alina festival.
