How is the installation of the site for the Alina-2024 festival going? Technical director Georgy Nechuneev shares all

Technical director of the Alina-2024 festival Georgy Nechuneev told us how the installation of the site in Sochi and Minsk for our festival is going.
"Approximately 80 people are involved specifically in the installation process. This year we decided to try to make the decoration more voluminous, but maintain the projection, because for us video content plays a very important role in supporting all the performances. Since this is a television project, everything should be bright, beautiful," he said.
Georgy Nechuneev also shared the details of the work that has been done.
"There will be a circle in the very center. We’ve integrated lighting equipment into this circle, provided back lighting, moved it away from the main plane, but retained the projection onto it. Also, at the bottom there will be decorative ribbons that intersect with gymnastics", Georgy said.
He also noted the uniqueness of the site’s design.
"What’s special about these structures is that the festival is held in Sochi on March 2, and on March 5 we’re going to repeat the same thing in Minsk, at the Minsk Arena. The decorations were made in such a way that one set arrived here, and the second set, an exact copy, would go to the Minsk Arena to be installed there," he said.
This year the Alina festival will be held for the 13th time, but for the first time in two countries. On March 2 it will be hosted by the Academy in Sochi, and on March 5 by the Belarusian Minsk Arena.
