How was the ‘kindness font used at the Alina 2024 Festival? Artist Ivan Rudnev talking about that

Artist of the Alina 2024 Festival Ivan Rudnev described features of the stage and differences between the shows in the Academy and at the Minsk Arena.

“We made a complex scene, made it more complicated compared to previous festivals. And new techniques will now be used. As for festivals, each of them has its own theme. Now we have an international theme.” 

He also told whether festival preparations took or did not took long.

“This time it was quite quick, because we just finished Sky Grace which took place in China in December. So starting from January, it turns out to be a month and a half. Quite packed schedule this time.” 

Ivan Rudnev told us about differences between the shows in the Academy and at the Minsk Arena.

“On the one hand we repeat it, on the other hand, we have development there, several routines, just Russia and Belarus. There will be another specifically Belarusian performance. So yes, there will be a small difference.” 

The artist also described the “kindness font” in more detail. 

“Here the artists used their children's drawings. And we also used the kindness font, as you know. There was a project where children with special needs drew letters and, in fact, this font was exactly used in this content.”

The Alina 2024 Festival was held in the Academy in Sochi on March 2, and the Minsk Arena will be its host on March 5.
